 The
mystery of silk dates back over 3,000 years. It was a luxury reserved
for the most noble and privileged in society. Silk is synonymous with
luxury and elegance. It is a natural fiber with an unmatched softness
and delicate feel. It's durability and natural ability to insulate make
it a timeless fabric to be enjoyed year round. For
over a decade Scott and Aliki's quest has been to seek out the
best
silks. They discovered a certain region in China ideal for the growth
of the mulberry tree. This is the only food that the silk worm can eat. The
silk worms spins it's cocoon and the filament from this cocoon
is
what creates the silk yarn. The filament is over a mile long and as
strong as steel would be if it had the same diameter. The filament is
